The Kansas City Chiefs are off to a horrible start to the season. After two games, Kansas City is sitting at 0-2, and with only one team in NFL history ever making the playoffs after a 0-3 start, Sunday night’s game against the New York Giants is a must-win for Kansas City.

The Chiefs were hoping to get one of their top downfield threats, wide receiver Xavier Worthy, after he was injured colliding with tight end Travis Kelce in the Chiefs’ opening week loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Unfortunately, Worthy isn’t going to be ready in time to go, according to one of the NFL insiders.

“Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy now been ruled out for Sunday night’s game and is not traveling with the team,” reported Adam Schefter of ESPN.

“Poetic justice that Travis Kelce was trying to injure the defender and took out his teammate instead,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“KC is about to be 0-3 The NFL will have those flags ready if a Giant even thinks of touching a KC player,” someone else added.

“guys this means we’re screwed, right? if we don’t beat the giants, we don’t have any chance at all,” one Chiefs fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Chiefs can grit out their first win of the season without Worthy.
