Taylor Swift understood the assignment.
The pop superstar, 35, stepped out in a matching set opposite her schoolboy-coded fiancé Travis Kelce to celebrate Patrick Mahomes’ 30th birthday at after the Kansas City Chiefs first home game on Sunday, Sept. 14.
Swift, too, wore a ‘fit that was giving school girl chic, very fitting for the hitmaker who recently released the track “So High School” from the double album edition of her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
She wore the Simkhai Poppy Vest in Sand Plaid ($395), which features a classic button-down front with a tailored fit. She paired it with the matching Payton Wrap Mini Skirt in Sand Plaid ($395), which is a wrap style with a single button closure.
Aligning with her sophisticated style, Swift wore brown Gucci Ottavia Leather Platform Loafer Pumps ($1,560). The brown shoe features a metal horse bit detail across the vamp and a slingback strap.
To accessorize, she wore a vintage Chanel pendant necklace ($1,398) and matched it with a bracelet. Her complete look totaled approximately $3,748.
Swift styled her locks in a way that’s classically her, letting hair bangs fall free while sweeping pieces of her hair back into a soft half up-half down look.
Her glam, too, aligned with her signature look (cat eye eyeliner and all). However, she opted against her classic red lip for a darker matte shade.
Swift’s look was captured in a photo shared by country star Kane Brown, who posted the picture on his Instagram the day after the celebration. Brittany Mahomes and Brown’s wife, Katelyn, were also in the shot.
The dinner was held at Kelce and Mahomes’ new steakhouse, 1587 Prime, which officially opens on Sept. 17 (the QB’s actual birthday date).
For Kelce’s look, he stepped out in the schoolboy-style suit that he wore for his pre-game tunnel walk at Arrowhead Stadium ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs 20-17 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The three-time Super Bowl champ wore a navy Thom Browne suit set, featuring a red, white and blue stripe down the back of the jacket and matching shorts. He set the look off with a clean white button down shirt and navy tie.
He completed his look with black dress shoes and blinged-out sunglasses.
The party took place after the “August” singer attended the Chiefs’ first home game of the season since her engagement to Kelce in August.
On Sunday, Sept. 14, the pop star watched as the Kansas City Chiefs faced the Philadelphia Eagles in a 2025 Super Bowl rematch.
