At just 22 years old, Josh Giddey turned in a breakout campaign after arriving via trade from the Oklahoma City Thunder, in exchange for Alex Caruso. His 2024-25 season with the Chicago Bulls saw career-highs in multiple categories: 14.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game over 70 games. He also shot a career-best 37.8% from three and made 105 triples overall.
Notably, he posted seven triple-doubles, the second most in Bulls single-season history, just trailing Michael Jordan’s 1988-89 record of 15 triple-doubles. After the 2025 All-Star break, Giddey’s numbers spiked: in one stretch, he averaged 21.2 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 9.3 assists, demonstrating his potential as an elite lead guard.
