Kendrick Perkins wants to assure Jonathan Kuminga that the Golden State Warriors are not interested to regain him back, and that he should leave.
Jonathan Kuminga is still without a club for the 2025-26 campaign.

As a restricted free agent, Kuminga found himself in problems with the contract negotiations with the Golden State Warriors.
Former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins think that there is no reasonable solution for both sides if Kuminga stays with the Warriors.
“I don’t know if Jonathan Kuminga watches NBA Today, but they don’t want you, dawg. They don’t value you because if they did, you wouldn’t be going through this. And it started last season, Steve Kerr showed you how he felt about you,” Perkins said.
“When you look at this situation, it will cause turmoil in the locker room if you bring him back at $7.9 million because he’s gonna go out there and play individual basketball, and it’s hard for me to tell a guy not to go out there and get his numbers because I know he wants to get paid.”
Brian Windhorst thinks that there is no hurry from any side to make a deal quickly, but he thinks that Kuminga will be a Warrior next season, along with a few veterans:
“I think at the end of the day, Jonathan Kuminga is going to be on the Warriors. And I think at the end of the day, Al Horford and DeAnthony Melton are going to be on the Warriors,” Windhorst concluded.
