Draymond Green is currently on a quest to get his Golden State Warriors to yet another NBA title. And while Steph Curry and Co. seem to be doing pretty well, Green is having some light moments inside and outside of the court. The Warriors won their latest game against the Atlanta Hawks, 120-97 at the Chase Center. However, there was a hilarious back-and-forth between Green and the referee that had the hoops world in splits.

While Green is still an active NBA athlete, he is already looking to score big in the entertainment realm. Having started a podcast, Green has received impressive responses that have made the show skyrocket in popularity. Even the NBA referees are tuning in to listen to Green’s two cents about the game.

During Green’s Mic’d up segment, referee Tyler Ford wasted no time in issuing a friendly warning to the NBA icon. “I listened to the first 10 minutes of your podcast… I don’t want to hear no feelings tonight,” chirped Ford on the mic to Green. Surprisingly, Green was quick to respond as he immediately accepted Ford’s advice. “Yes sir,” replied the 34-year-old promptly.

Unfortunately, his promise did not take long to break. After a short while, Green was quick to call out Ford for a missed foul call. While the referee immediately agreed, it does appear that Green is not the one who would tighten his lips on his podcast and filter his views from now on. While this was a fun interaction, Green has had some rough times with the referees. A similar moment came recently against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Draymond Green Got Himself Ejected From The Grizzlies Team

Draymond Green was involved in a nasty physical altercation with Grizzlies’ Zach Edey. Trying to get a basket for his team, Green suffered a hard fall. However, in the follow-up, he seemed to get his legs entangled with Edey’s body. Later on, replays suggested that the action might have been a deliberate one from Green to stop Edey from going into offense.

Thus, the referee called in for a foul on Green, which the Warriors’ star did not take lightly. Trying to prevent Green from getting a second foul, HC Steve Kerr promptly benched him. But the rage did not subside yet. Green continued to hurl mouthfuls at the referee, after which he got himself a second foul, resulting in his ejection. Before leaving the arena, Green lashed out again and uttered, “F**k you” to the referee.
